Recently 16-year-old Koito Koganei became the Takamimi Shrine’s miko and the caretaker who serves the shrine's living deity Elda, who’s actually an immortal pretty elf who’s lived on Earth for four hundred years after being accidentally summoned here. 60 years ago, after a boy accidentally taunted her about her ears, Elda became a shut-in who was afraid to go beyond the shrines’ boundaries, and even became an otaku who enjoys playing video games. Wanting her to enjoy life in the outside world, Koito tries to help Elda get out of her personal shell.
