The hero Yulia, Yusha Chardiet, and her friends Seira, Fai, and Mei confront the Demon Lord plaguing Naral Island, but their sealing spell messes up and accidentally sends the Demon Lord back in time to before Yusha became a hero. The Demon Lord reveres into a small girl named Mao who becomes a teacher at the Adventure School that Yusha, and her friends Seira, Fai, and Mei are attending. Mao tries to expel Yusha to prevent her from becoming the future hero but accidentally helps her, Seira, Fai, and Mei to start gaining their abilities.
